In less than two weeks, international keynote speaker and entrepreneur, Daniel Flynn, is set to inspire Waikato.

Mr Flynn is Co-founder and Managing Director of Thankyou, a social enterprise that exists to empower humanity to choose a world without poverty through simple everyday purchases. He will speak to hundreds of people at the Hamilton Gardens on how to be remarkable, as well as share the Thankyou story of disruptive innovation.

“I love the diversity this event brings with young and old coming together to challenge the status quo. We all desire to make something remarkable that leaves a legacy, and with innovation and dedication, we can be. I’m looking forward to sharing the Thankyou story, and inspiring the Waikato,” Mr Flynn said.

Thankyou has given more than $5.8 million to help end global poverty. Their 50 products are stocked by more than 4000 retailers in Australia and New Zealand, with 100 per cent of the profits committed to funding water, sanitation and child and maternal health projects around the world.

In nine short years, Thankyou has directly impacted the lives of more than 780,000 people in 20 countries.

Mr Flynn is one of Australia’s most successful entrepreneurs under the age of 30, and is the recipient of EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 Social Entrepreneurs.

Early-bird tickets sold out within two days, and less than 50 per cent of general admission tickets remain.

“Thankyou is an excellent example of how enterprise can tackle the big issues that face society. This is a fantastic opportunity to hear Daniel share his learnings and vision for a better tomorrow”, key sponsor and Founding Member of Social Impact Waikato, Ben Scott, said.

“This event is extra special because it has local Waikato organisation’s collaborating to deliver an inspiring message across a range of audiences the young, students, business and community. It’s going to be awesome. Be there,” key sponsor and Founder of Inspire Hamilton, Ryan Hamilton, said.
