We’re here to tell you more about the major employment sectors in the Waikato region. The Regional Labour Market – Regional and Industry Indicators Report gives you an overview of the current trends and opportunities in the Waikato including:

The report demonstrates employment trends across the whole Waikato labour market. For example, did you know:

  • New hires in the Waikato manufacturing sector and primary industries earn more than others elsewhere in New Zealand.

  • There’s expected to be 4 per cent growth in jobs in health and construction in the Waikato each year for the next three years.
